five? : bio

"the details of my life are quite inconsequential... very well then, where do i begin?" - dr. evil

i grew up as an only child of a military family. as an air force brat i moved quite a bit with my family. every 4 years or so we would pack up and move and i would have to start over again. so i've become quite the world traveler, much before i was even old enough to remember it. in all of my childhood years, we moved a total of 5 times (which is not too bad, i knew others who had it worse). before moving to colorado springs, colorado i lived in hawaii, maryland, italy, south carolina, and texas as well as traveled cross-country and visited countless other places.

even though i moved a lot while i was growing up, i am currently enjoying being "settled" in denver, colorado. i moved to denver in october of 2000 to start college. i majored in graphic design, i figured it would be nice to get paid to do this web stuff that i had been doing since high school. while in college, i met my husband, chris. he was a classmate of my roommate's friend (long story) . we have been pretty much inseparable ever since we met (you could say love at first sight). a few short years later i not only graduated with my bachelors degree but i also celebrated my 21st birthday in the same month. shortly before graduating from college, i started a job at a local sign shop as a customer service rep (unfortunately for me and them i am not doing and design there). 8 months after graduating college, chris and i were wed on a beautiful beach in florida. we spent our honeymoon at disney world and on a cruise to the bahamas.

so the honeymoon's over, 3 months later chris is diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. we are both devastated. we take it one day at a time, one step at a time. chris is doing relatively well, the medicine he takes makes him sicker than the disease but it helps him from getting any worse.

so that's pretty much it, my life in a nutshell. of course life goes on and i will be adding and substantial things to this bio as they happen.
